The latest issue of @bjp1854 has an article Taking A Stanza, which discusses the renewed popularity of poetry paired with photography. In particular David Solo’s (who co-curated Photo Poetry Surfaces at the 2021 Bristol Photo Festival) statement that, “these collaborations work best when the poetry is not a caption and the photography is not an illustration, but rather both raise questions,” really struck a chord.
